I was in HMV the other day and saw that one of the films of last year, Drive, was on sale for £6. After watching it again, it reminded me how good the soundtrack was, and made me listen to some french disco/house I’d been sent recently. I quite like the genre, it always has very sleek production and obviously it’s a scene which welcomes 80’s culture as if it was almost mandatory, but sometimes you find a gem. HE^RT is one such gem from Brooklyn based producer Starcadian. He has 5 tracks on his soundcloud, all with infectious hooks but its HE^RT with its vocal led melody that’s the standout track.
